Small Space Field Guide has no user accounts, no newsletter signup, and no forms — so we don't collect names, emails, or other personal details through the site. There is no payment processing anywhere on the site.
You may voluntarily contact us by email. That message is handled by our email provider the way any email service processes and stores mail — we don't operate a contact form or collect message content through the site itself. We keep correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to it.
Small Space Field Guide uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, enabled through Cloudflare's automatic setup, for basic site-usage and performance measurement — the kind of thing that tells us which pages get read and how fast they load. When you click an Amazon affiliate link, the site also records a minimal anonymous click event containing the guide path, affiliate link, and link label so we can measure whether recommendations are being used. It's cookieless: it does not use cookies or browser storage (such as localStorage) to collect this data, and it does not fingerprint visitors. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, or any behavioral advertising tracking. This is separate from Amazon's own referral attribution, described below: Small Space Field Guide may contain affiliate links to Amazon — see our affiliate disclosure. Amazon-tagged links may allow Amazon to attribute a referral when you click through and make a qualifying purchase; once you leave this site for Amazon, Amazon's own privacy notice and policies govern how Amazon handles your data.
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes standard web request data — like IP address — to deliver pages, the way any website host does. That's a normal part of serving a site over the internet, not tracking added by us.
If we add any other tracking scripts, cookies, or data collection beyond Cloudflare Web Analytics and the affiliate-click count described above, we'll update this notice first to describe what's collected and why.
